"Lovely coats. Work really well. Maggie has just had a shower and is now lovely and dry. Thank you."

What it is

A microfibre drying robe for dogs who won't stand still for a towel. It goes on over the head in about five seconds, fastens with one adjustable belly strap, and then you let go.

No rubbing, no pinning down, no hands on them while they dry. The fabric draws the water out of the coat on its own, and they're dry in around twenty minutes.

How to put it on
  • Open neck over the head — there's no hood, so nothing goes across the face or ears.
  • Pull it back so it sits level along the spine.
  • Fasten the belly strap snug, not tight. You should get two fingers underneath.
  • Let go and walk away. It stays put through a shake and a run down the garden.
Introducing it to a nervous dog

Don't make the first time a soaking wet one.

  • Start dry and calm. Living room, no rush. Let them sniff it, put it on, leave it five minutes, then take it off and give them something good.
  • Do it twice more over the next couple of days. You're not drying anything yet — you're making the robe an ordinary object.
  • Then use it for real. Straight on at the back door, strap fastened, and walk away.

If they back off at any point, stop and try again the next day. Nothing here should be a wrestle — that's the whole point of it.

Care, delivery & returns

Care. Machine wash at 30°C and dry naturally. Skip the fabric softener — it coats the microfibre and cuts how much water the robe can hold.

Delivery. Free to the UK and the US. UK orders arrive within 8–9 working days, US in around 10. Tracking is emailed as soon as it ships.

Returns. Free size swap within 14 days if you pick wrong, and 14 days to return an unused robe for a refund under UK consumer law.

Built for nervous dogs

The drying happens. Nobody has to be held down.

A towel means two minutes of hands on a dog who wants to leave. The robe takes the handling out entirely — it goes on, you let go, and the microfibre does the rest on its own.

Nothing rubbed

No hands on them while they dry. Nothing for an anxious dog to squirm away from.

On in five seconds

Over the head, one belly strap, fastened before they've decided to object.

No hood

Open neck. Nothing over the ears or across the face — where most nervous dogs draw the line.

Dry in twenty minutes

Dual-layer microfibre draws the water out of the coat instead of round your hallway.

Most dogs work out what it means within a week — robe on, and the handling is over.

See the difference for yourself.

For an anxious dog, the walk isn't the hard part. The towel is.

Still wondering

The questions we actually get asked

My dog hates anything being put on him. Will he tolerate this?

Most do, and the reason is what it doesn't involve. There's no hood, nothing across the face, and no rubbing — it goes over the head, one strap fastens, and then you let go.

Take the first few goes slowly: put it on when they're already calm and dry, leave it five minutes, treat, take it off. Most dogs stand for it by the third or fourth time.

Does it help with the post-walk zoomies?

Often, yes — because the coat becomes a signal. The walk ends, the robe goes on, and dogs pick that sequence up fast. Most owners tell us their dog stops pacing and settles once it's on, usually within the first week of using it.

It also removes the bit that winds them up in the first place: being chased round the kitchen and rubbed down with a towel.

Will it stay on if he shakes or rolls?

Yes. The belly strap adjusts, so you can get it snug enough to survive a shake and a sprint down the garden. You should still be able to slide two fingers underneath — snug, not tight.

What if it doesn't suit my dog?

Wrong size, free swap within 14 days. Not right at all, 14 days to send it back unused for a refund.

Message us either way — we'd rather sort it than have a robe sitting in a cupboard.
